The Igor Ibaka Foundation aims to improve, motivate and change youth and families through Education, Sports, Health & Wellness.

Igor Ibaka Foundation (IIF) is a non-profit charity organization providing scholarships to deserving underprivileged student athletes for academic funding, sports training opportunities and housing. IIF is dedicated to ensuring that young African athletes reach their maximum potential internationally without succumbing to the financial burdens that may block their development in the sports they love. IIF scholarship recipients are selected by the IIF Board of Directors and are awarded based upon the student athlete’s financial need, scholastic aptitude, athletic talent and athletic promise. Recipients will also be those student athletes that embody the values of  IIF: Community involvement, Academic achievement and Athletic excellence through hard work and hunger for their sport.

Igor Ibaka Foundation invites African athletes to the annual IIF basketball camp to focus on basketball skill development, test academic competitiveness and gauge basketball commitment.

The IIF basketball camp serves as a platform to award scholarship assistance to participants with unmet financial needs to continue their academic, athletic and life goals. IIF raises scholarship funds to enable these student athletes to access the following categories of badly needed recourses to keep their goals alive:Access to supplementary academic assistance or tutoring.

• Awareness of special programs for athletic scholars.
• Paying fees to enhance academic performance to participate in advanced international athletic opportunities.
• Scholarships to train in facilities which focus on youth sports.
• Special activities and training opportunities unique to the development of each young student athlete’s growth in their chosen sports.

Igor Ibaka Foundation exists not only to bring awareness to international basketball opportunities but also to bring opportunity to children without regards to financial burden. Through IIF scholarships, young boys and girls will recieve the chance to hone their skills in a positive manner that fulfill their goals athletically and academically to be an athlete and a valued citizen.
